Болката ѝ не спира. Her pain does not stop.

My mother is fighting for her life. Her pain does not stop. And time is running out.

I write these lines with a shrunken heart and with only one hope - that someone, somewhere will hear my plea and reach out to us. Because at this very moment, my mother - the brightest person in our lives - is in a hospital in Turkey, fighting the hardest battle of her life.

It all started with years of pain, suffering and endless attempts to understand what was really happening to her. In Bulgaria we didn't get a clear answer, but her condition was getting worse. So we left - urgently for Turkey, with hope.

In Turkey she was admitted immediately, diagnosis and treatment started. And then came the confirmation of the worst suspicion - Crohn's disease.

But this diagnosis was just the beginning of another nightmare. They found a dangerous bacteriain her blood that further eroded her strength. Her pain was constant. Day and night. Sometimes she can't even speak. Her eyes are full of tears, but she tries to stay strong - for us, her family. And we... we just try not to fall apart in front of her.

The doctors say there's no more time to wait. Her condition is deteriorating and emergency surgeryis needed to revise the colostomy. The surgery is life-saving. Without it, there is no chance.

But the amount we have to raise is prohibitive for our family. And that is why I am reaching out to you - people we may have never met, but who I believe carry kindness in their hearts, as well as friends , family and relatives.
