I turn to you with the pain and hope of a son who wants to help his mother.

My mother Cecca is a woman with a heart of gold and incredible strength, but today she is confined to a wheelchair. She suffers from type 2 diabetes, heart problems, and blocked arteries due to a second stroke that affected her entire left side.

After severe complications, she underwent rehabilitation where specialists gave us real hope that she could walk again. But first the problem of the blocked arteries must be resolved - without that, the pain in her leg is intolerable.

She was fitted with stents, but unfortunately - wrongly, due to misdiagnosis and multiple medical oversights. A worsening of her condition ensued, and she was left pinned - not only physically, but emotionally. The pain imprisoned her, day after day...

Our hope is treatment in Turkey, where specialists - a cardiologist, an endocrinologist, a neurologist, a vascular surgeon and a rehabilitation specialist - will take over her care. Especially important is vascular surgery and proper rehabilitation that can give her back her movement and joy of life.
