Операция на 25.01.2023г. Operation on 25.01.2023.

Операцията на Габи бе в 08:00ч. сутринта на 25.01.2023г. Самата операция бе около 4 часа, а след това Габи прекара още 2 часа в залата за следоперативно възстановяване. Малко след това я преместиха в стаята й. За наше щастие, операцията
е преминала според плана и очакванията на хирурзите. Те самите ни казаха, че са доволни от това как е протекла и че са изрязали тумора в планираните граници и са поставили протезата. Следващите дни следяха възстановяването, както и за всякакви възможни усложнения. След операцията Габи имаше силни болки, имаше температура, но за щастие всичко отшумя за няколко дни и с помощта на не много тежки медикаменти.След 2 до 3 седмици се очаква и резултата от биопсията на тумора, след което ни обясниха, че ще се свика Тумор Борд за препоръки за последващо лечение.Вярваме, че по-добрите дни предстоят. Gabby's surgery was at 08:00 in the morning of 25.01.2023. The surgery itself took about 4 hours and then Gabby spent another 2 hours in the recovery room. Shortly after that she was moved to her room. Fortunately for us, the surgery
went according to plan and the surgeons' expectations. They told us themselves that they were pleased with how it went and that they had excised the tumour within the planned margins and fitted the prosthesis. They spent the next few days monitoring the recovery as well as for any possible complications. After the operation Gabby was in a lot of pain and had a fever, but thankfully it all resolved in a few days and with the help of some not too heavy medication.The result of the biopsy of the tumour is expected in 2 to 3 weeks, after which we were told that a Tumour Board would be convened to make recommendations for further treatment.We believe that better days are ahead.
