Last week, on 02.10., Victor had to start a course of chemotherapy. Unfortunately it was postponed and we don't know exactly when it will start. His blood counts are still very low, despite all the injections and medications that are being used to stabilize them. In the meantime, Victor has picked up a high fever, necessitating an emergency admission to the hospital. This condition has been brought under control. Also in the last few days, several transfusions of antibiotics, red blood cells and platelets were required, and an X-ray and CT scan of the lungs were done. Victor's condition and blood counts are monitored daily, and when they stabilize, the deferred course of intravenous chemotherapy will begin. Unfortunately, all of this comes with unforeseen costs😞
