Hello, good people with big hearts!

My name is Valentina and I am the wife of Nasko, I will tell you about the nightmare our family is in. With pain and hope I turn to you for help in the hardest battle of my husband's life - his battle with cancer. Help us to help him get well and be by his two children's side for a long time to come.

I will tell you the story that took our peace of mind and that presents us with new challenges every day. On 03.05.2022, on a sunny day, Nasko just fainted after coming home from work. They took him by ambulance to St. He was taken by ambulance to St. George's Hospital in Plovdiv, where after examinations they found that he had a brain tumor. The diagnosis was astrocytoma 2nd degree, which caused emergency surgery. The operation was followed by a course of radiotherapy and we were assured that everything would be fine. But six months later, on a follow-up MRI, the tumor came back, even larger. Fear returned to our home.

In December, I started to seek new opinions about Nasko's condition and so a second operation was scheduled, which took place on 17.01.2024 in Sofia, at the University Hospital "Ivan Rilski". The operation started again. The biopsy after it confirmed the most frightening diagnosis - glioblastoma grade 4, the most aggressive brain cancer.

After a year of heavy therapies, a new recurrence of the tumor occurred. Unfortunately, they refused to operate in Bulgaria, but we managed to find help in Turkey.

Nasko is currently in Memorial Hospital in Istanbul fighting a bacterial infection. All expenses so far have been covered by our family, but we will need more funds to continue treatment. The treatment is long term and very expensive, and without your support I don't know how we will manage.
