Dear friends,

We are Stoyanka and Georgi - parents of an incredibly brave boy - Christian Vassilev.

Christian has been fighting a tough battle with a rare and aggressive disease - Juvenile Angiofibroma - for several years now, which requires urgent and highly specialized treatment.

After three difficult operations - two in Bulgaria and one in Turkey - the disease returned. Christian's hearing has been affected by the previous interventions and now the tumour is starting to put pressure on his eye, making the need for treatment even more urgent.

Our last hope is a specialist hospital in Heidelberg, Germany, where there is a chance of life and recovery.

Christian is smiling, kind and strong - a child who, despite everything, never stops dreaming.
