We turn to everyone with open hearts with a request that no one wants to make, but sometimes life puts us in difficult and unexpected battles.

Our beloved father, husband and friend - Peter Galev, is facing a scary diagnosis - carcinoma nasopharynx. The disease was detected at an early stage, but required urgent treatment to control it in time.

Peter is a HGV driver - a man who has always fought for every thing in life by his own efforts and hard work.

But this time the battle is bigger than anything he's ever fought before, and he can't win it alone.

A little medical history

It all started about half a year ago with nasal congestion and impaired nasal breathing, coupled with a feeling of pressure in the head. Peter was examined by several specialists in otorhinolaryngology (ENT) and various drug therapies were administered with no improvement.

Over time, he developed conductive hearing loss on the left due to Eustachian tube obstruction and conductive middle ear dysfunction. An endoscopy of the nasal cavity was performed in the ICU, which revealed chronic rhinosinusitis, nasal polyps, and deviation of the nasal septum (septum nasi).

Endoscopic sinonasal surgery with septal repair was scheduled.

However, during preparation for surgery, an atypical formation was visualized in the posterior nasal cavity. A biopsy of the tissue was taken and sent for histopathological examination. The result: non-squamous undifferentiated carcinoma of the nasopharynx - carcinoma nasopharynx.

This marked the beginning of a new, unexpected and much more serious struggle.

After many delays and wrong directions in Bulgaria, our family made the difficult but right decision - to look for hope in Turkey, where there are established specialists with experience in treating this type of cancer through radiotherapy, possibly in combination with chemotherapy if necessary.

❗️Петър is leaving this Sunday (22.06.2025), with insufficient funds - because there is no time to procrastinate❗ The estimated amount for the treatment is about 50,000 euros, which is unaffordable for ourselves.

Peter is not just a man. He is the heart of our family 💗 a man who has always put everyone before himself. A father who has given his all so that we his children can have a happy childhood.

A man who doesn't give up even when he doesn't have the strength.

He needs our help today to have a tomorrow.

Every support every buck, every sharing is a ray of hope for him and for us.
